HIT Entertainment - July 2010

HIT Entertainment, a leading producer and rights owner of quality children’s entertainment has today announced the development of new series ‘Super School’, working alongside BAFTA award winning ‘Bob the Builder’ designer Curtis Jobling and multi award winning animation writer, Ian Carney.

‘Super School’ is an action packed pre-school series where super-powered children learn how to handle their unique abilities and discover what it takes to be a hero. When an ordinary six year old boy, ‘Mack Action’, discovers he can fly, he is catapulted into the exciting world of cloaks, giant robots, and a whole group of super hero classmates; Werewilf, a transforming wolf boy, the water blasting Princess Neptuna and feisty Lilly Little-Large. ‘Super School’ takes preschoolers on a journey of self discovery and learning through play and adventure. The innovative 3D series will mix adventure and humour while teaching important lessons on growing up, making friends, teamwork and the significance of being a hero.

Chris Rose, VP Development, Production and Programming at HIT Entertainment said, ‘When we introduced Super School to global broadcasters at MIPTV in April, it was greeted with a very positive response. HIT Entertainment is delighted to be working with both Curtis Jobling and Ian Carney once more to develop the first 3D animated pre-school super hero series in the UK’.
