Gerold Kolenbrander Managing Director of CPLG Germany is moving onto pastures new after 14 years with the company. He began his career at CPLG in 1996 as the Director of Finance. His sales and management abilities were immediately apparent and he was soon promoted to Managing Director. CPLG Germany has grown tremendously under his leadership and is without a doubt one of the best licensing agencies in a very competitive marketplace.

Katarina Dietrich CEO of CPLG says: "It is with mixed feelings that I announce Gerold’s departure to pursue new life goals. I would like to thank Gerold for his hard work, dedication, passion, support and solution driven attitude; he is an outstanding personality and will be missed. As much as we will miss him, we wish him only the best for his future."

Gerold says: "It was a tough decision for me to leave CPLG after 14 years, a time period in which a business becomes your second home and family. I wish the company and all my dear colleagues and clients around the world all the continued success on a business level but also all the best on a personal level."

Stepping into the MD’s role will be Joachim Knödler who has been the Director of Sales and Retail since he joined CPLG Germany in 2003. Prior to CPLG Joachim worked at both Hasbro and The Marketing Store gaining valuable experience which will stand him in good stead as he takes the helm of the highly motivated and successful German team.

Stepping in to the role of Sales and Retail Director will be Sibylle Brauneis who comes from Merchandising Media GmbH where she was Director of Licensing and Home Entertainment. During her 10 year career at MM Licensing Sibylle worked across a number of different departments giving her a wide range of experience and making her the perfect choice to head up the German Sales team Sibylle will also be handling the toy and games categories in order to extend licensing activities in these areas.
