Only a few days to go before the Kind + Jugend celebrate their 50th anniversary. On four days the baby and preschool outfitting industry meets at the leading global trade fair in Cologne from 16-19 September 2010. As in previous years, not only leading market players but also countless medium-sized companies and small firms present their new products and innovations. A total of more than 800 exhibitors from 40 countries display their product ranges: from prams and pushchairs, to safety seats, children’s furniture, textiles, sanitary products through to toys and fashion for babies and preschool children. As in recent years more and more infant specialty stores and toy shops started to offer toys for the very young, the Kind + Jugend enjoys rising popularity among toy manufacturers.

Today, the product range displayed at the Kind + Jugend covers traditional wooden toys, plush and modern educational toys that appeal to all senses. Based upon experience from recent years, display areas on the show floor are this year dedicated to individual categories and tailored to the special needs of retail visitors. So buyers will find everything within short walking distance. Whatever is on your list, you will find all products from one category well-arranged in a single fair hall. What is more, on occasion of their 50th anniversary, the Kind + Jugend have another surprise up their sleeve: With reference to their own history, fashion and design exhibitors present their products on a Fashion High Street in Hall 11.3. The result will be a shopping mile for products, collections and product lines from children’s fashion, apparel, textiles and accessories. The unique atmosphere of style, design, and quality will be topped off by daily fashion shows and presentations.
