KidScreen´s Online Screening Platform Unveils New Version & Features

BRANDORA Editorial Staff - August 2010

KidScreen is rolling out a suite of brand-new features to enhance its online screening platform, KidScreen Connect. With more than 1,200 kids TV buyers and investors now set up to search for the market’s best children’s content in this robust library, KidScreen Connect Version 2 will help producers and distributors showcase their programming and sell it more effectively in the international marketplace.

Subscribers to KidScreen Connect can now embed the videos they’ve created for the screening platform on their own websites for a fraction of the cost of developing and hosting a proprietary video solution.

Version 2 also includes augmenting reporting that lets sellers see the length of time buyers have spent viewing their shows, and they can now email these reports to colleagues and partners.

Plus, KidScreen has improved its Connect search engine and profiling so users can find the right buyers more easily and read more about what kinds of kids programming these buyers are currently looking for.

Since launching in February 2010, the KidScreen Connect screening platform has played host to more than 4,600 screenings and now features nearly 400 titles in its programming library.

Subscribers are already able to:

  • Set viewing permissions by company, territory or type of buyer for effective targeting
  • Post full-length episodes in true HD
  • Get daily notifications when their programs are viewed
  • Download a viewing report anytime to see which broadcasters have watched their shows
  • Send and receive messages with buyers regarding questions, feedback and follow-up
  • Impress buyers with their credits and the big-name creative talent attached to their projects
  • Benefit from extra promotion in the KidScreen Daily email newsletter and buyer- targeted marketing efforts around major industry events
  • Have their shows featured in the on-site Screening Suite at Kidscreen Summit 2011
