CPLG is delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Manners as Executive Vice President & Director of Entertainment, with immediate effect. Katarina Dietrich CEO says ‘We are thrilled at Steve’s appointment - he is a truly outstanding figure within the licensing field, with a broad range of operational and strategic experience. His industry knowledge is exceptional and he will add considerable value to our business.’ Steve’s role within CPLG will cover two vital aspects of CPLG’s global business: Client Management – dealing with existing licensors, and New Business Development - the acquisition of new rights from either existing or new licensors. Steve brings more than 18 years of industry experience to his new position and has worked with some of the world’s most recognisable brands. Most recently he was Vice President, UK and Europe for Beanstalk - overseeing the development of several celebrity and brand licensing programmes, including Paris Hilton, Vespa, Samsonite and Proctor & Gamble. Prior to that he specialised in the entertainment licensing arena, where he managed the European licensing divisions of Universal Studios and 20th Century Fox. From 2001 until 2004 Steve was also Managing Director UK Entertainment at CPLG. “I couldn’t be happier to be returning to CPLG at such an exciting time,” says Steve, “it has grown significantly in the past few years to become a truly global company, and the opportunity to assist in taking things forward was too good to turn down. I have always enjoyed working with the team at CPLG, both as part of the company and as an agent whilst I was at Fox and Universal and have enormous respect for my colleagues throughout all the offices. It feels like coming home!” |
