2-dream adds The Koogles and announces partnership with the Think Tank Emporium

In this world of witch, the Koogles are magical creatures created by Mother Nature specifically to help out Isabelle Kalin (the good and very old witch). Very, very tiny, furry with four tiny striped legs, antennae and wings Glow when ready to use their magical gift. Each has a distinct gift, for example fire/warmth, chatter (animal speak), growing plants, etc. As each new Koogle develops their gift an icon appears next to their left eye and on each of their antennae to allow the Keeper to keep track of each of their gifts. Other main characters of the book include Ellie Rouge – Young girl who controls the Koogles, Isabelle Kalin, King Xavier, Javin Willow, Nicolas Raven, 5 witch sisters…

After the success of MiFé Mouse brand, launched in 2009 and with licenses in plush, accessories, gift products, stationery, publishing, and videogames catégories, Emily S. Garcia introduces a new collectible character series called the Koogles, the combination of colourful characters set amongst a magical background. 7 volumes are already planned for publishing.

The deal gives 2-dream world rights, including TV & digital, merchandising, licensing, publishing to The Koogles. The firm aims to make it a multi-platform brand for teens and tweens, and fully exploit the « transmedia » potential.

2-dream will team up with The ThinkTank Emporium on a new venture to boost the brand.
The newly formed partnership will build upon both companies’ business networks, developing and securing intellectual property rights worldwide. The Think Tank Emporium will handle North American market.

The plan now is for Koogles to ultimately become a multiplatform brand, with first books to be released soon. There may also be an opportunity to revisit the plans for a Koogles animated series."

Licensee Aurora World has already signed the Koogles in two key categories – Plush and Gifts – with first products to be released in 2011.
