Big And Small Plan Big Things For Autumn/Winter 2010!

BRANDORA Editorial Staff - September 2010

  • New plush toy deal announced with Namco Entertainment
  • Big and Small partners Heroes For Kids in special online shop

Big and Small, the Kindle Entertainment pre-school TV property, today announced two strategic partnerships for the brand, both designed to make Big and Small licensed products more accessible to consumers.

Namco Goes Big With Big And Small
Kindle’s new deal will see Namco Europe Ltd. (part of the Bandai Namco Group) produce a new range of Big and Small plush toys to be distributed across UK leisure and amusement parks. The plush toys will be installed into amusement machines such as the classic crane machines at venues popular with pre-school-age children and their families.

Big and Small’s move into the amusement sector is a new venture for the brand and takes the product into venues where Big and Small has not had a presence before, such as amusement arcades, leisure centres, seaside resorts, bowling alleys and holiday parks. The new plush toys are rolling out with immediate effect, with further plans to look at new plush products for 2011. This dovetails with other activities such as Big and Small’s appearances earlier this year at Longleat.

Big And Small Go Big Online
In partnership with Heroes for Kids Ltd., the online toy shop specialist, Big and Small has just got bigger, with an online sales portal allowing fans of the Big and Small TV show to buy their favourites products at anytime, all over the world.

Big and Small’s new online shop (hosted by Heroes for Kids Ltd.) is available now at www.bigandsmallshop.co.uk and stocks Big and Small plush toys, jigsaw puzzles, giant card games, party stickers, the full range of storybooks, Big and Small DVDs, t-shirts and lunchware. Heroes for Kids Ltd. is currently offering customers 10% off their first purchase with special promotional codes.

Anne Brogan, Founder and Director of Kindle Entertainment, comments: “Big and Small continues to delight its audience – both big and small – with its hugely loveable characters and laugh-out-loud stories. These two new strategic partnerships ensure Big and Small will be out having BIG fun with fans in the UK and all over the world this Autumn and into 2011. We are thrilled to be working with Namco on this new adventure for Big and Small as they go into a leisure environment where families are having fun and enjoying time together. We are also very pleased to join up with Heroes for Kids, a leader in their field, so fans of the show worldwide can extend their enjoyment by buying Big and Small products through our new online shop.”
