Vincent Chalvon Demersay and David Michel are delighted to announce the appointment of Dominic Webber as Director of Current Series and Senior Producer at Marathon Media.
Dominic will manage the creative aspects of all current productions and will lead a team of executive producers. Alongside David Michel, General Manager, Dominic will also contribute to the development of the company as a whole
Dominic Webber’s 20 years of experience in the family entertainment industry in Canada – his home country – with five years as Executive Producer at YTV/Corus (2003 – 2004) and Teletoon/Astral Media (2006 – 2009) will greatly benefit Marathon Media. Marathon’s Totally Spies! is among the series Dominic has worked on as a broadcaster.
Prior to his broadcast career, Dominic earned his spurs as Artistic Director at Subsequence Entertainment and Vivatoon, and worked as a scriptwriter and director, as well as gaining extensive experience in live-action film and television production.
“Dominic is a precious addition to our team,” explains David Michel. “His long experience with major Northern American broadcasters and as a producer will strengthen the quality and number of our shows in production”.
Dominic Webber’s appointment is effective as of 20 September 2010. |
