The Licensing New Europe show - set to be held in Zagreb, Croatia on November 11th – 13th - is continuing to attract a host of top exhibitors. The LIMA-sponsored event is being organised by Zagreb-based company Creata Ltd and follows on from last year’s hugely successful debut show. Its role is to promote the role of licensing in the New Europe region, which comprises Central, Eastern and South-eastern Europe, Russia and CIS. There are now more than fifty confirmed exhibitors for the show, including licensors and content providers such as 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros, Cartoon Network, Freemantle Media Enterprises, Europacorp, Vipo and Bruno Productions, as well as top licensing agents including Kidz Entertainment/EEMC, European Licensing Company (ELC) and Plus Licens. The conference programme promises an innovative look at brand and character/entertainment licensing and will include workshops, screenings and presentations. “It’s fantastic to be attracting so many important companies and individuals to New Europe 2010,” comments LIMA New Europe Regional Representative Zeljko William Krnjak, “New Europe offers the whole licensing sector enormous scope for development and I think one of the key attractions of the show is that it is being organised and hosted by people who live and work in the region and who know how best to maximise potential in this rapidly developing area.” Attendance at the show is free for all visitors who have pre-registered before November 1st.
