France Télévisions Distribution and the publisher Editions Gallimard Jeunesse are joining forces to publish books targeting children and teenagers. The books will be declined from animation and fiction programmes available on France Télévisions channels and other medias, for which France Télévisions Distribution has acquired publishing rights. In close collaboration with France Télévisions children and youth programmes department, an initial collection of books, derived from the educational WordWorld Le Monde des Mots animation series, will soon be launched. The WordWorld Le Monde des Mots animation series has been on air since August 28th, with daily broadcasting in Ludo Zouzous on France 5, also with on line activities on monludo.fr. Only a month after its first appearance in Ludo Zouzous on France 5, the series has already an audience of up to 313,000 viewers 4+ and 15.4% market shares for the 4-10 on Saturday mornings (Médiamétrie). Supported by the Group’s children and youth programme department, this partnership is part of France Télévisions’ global media policy. www.mon-ludo.fr |
