The Licensing New Europe 2010 Show & Conference - set to be held in Zagreb, Croatia on November 11th to the 13th – has received the backing of Croatian President Ivo Josipović The LIMA-sponsored event is being organised by Zagreb-based company Creata Ltd and follows on from last year’s hugely successful debut show. Its aim is to promote the role of licensing in the New Europe region, which comprises Central, Eastern and South-eastern Europe, Russia and CIS. In a letter to Licensing New Europe, the President’s office asserted that Mr Josipović was fully supportive of the show’s aims and objectives. The letter also stated that the President hoped that it would secure and improve the use of intellectual property as a tool for economic growth and an initiator of scientific, cultural and social progress in Croatia, as well as contributing to the strengthening of bilateral and regional cooperation. There are now more than fifty confirmed exhibitors for the show, including licensors and content providers such as 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros, Cartoon Network, Fremantle Media Enterprises, Europacorp, Vipo and Bruno Productions, as well as top licensing agents including Kidz Entertainment/EEMC, European Licensing Company (ELC) and Plus Licens. “We are delighted to have received this letter of support from the President’s office,” says Creata Managing Director, Goran Krnjak, “it reflects the importance and esteem that surrounds the show, which is viewed as an incredibly important event in Croatia and across the whole New Europe region.” Further information and registration and application forms can be found at www.licensingneweurope.com. |
