Target Entertainment continues to expand its licensing programmes for PlayStation®, IPs (Intellectual Properties) with the announcement of several new deals for Invizimals™.
In Spain and Portugal, Panini Espana SA has signed a licence for a range of products including trading cards, trading card games and photocards. In the same territory, leading toy manufacturer Comansi will produce a series of figurines and Safta will be producing stationery and bags. Both deals have been negotiated by BRB, Target’s sub-agent in the territory. |
Meanwhile, The Licensing Factory, Target’s Italian sub-agent has engaged Edibas Collection BV to develop card games, card albums and mini figurines. Targeted at boys and girls aged 7 years+, Invizimals™ is a unique monster hunting game for PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable). Utilizing the PSP camera, children can hunt and capture up to 120 invisible monsters in the real world. Once captured, they can train and evolve their monsters then pit them against each other in battle either online or with friends.
Richard Woolf, director of licensing at Target Entertainment, says: “Invizimals™ is an exciting and magical game appealing to both boys and girls and we are delighted to kick off the licensing activities with a host of leading licensees from Southern Europe.” |
