4sight licensing solutions, part of 4Kids Entertainment International Limited, has signed a license agreement with G Group, which has seen a variety of products launch for the Crufts brand. The range of official Crufts merchandise includes gifts, clothing for men, women and children, accessories for dogs and limited edition products to celebrate dfs Crufts’ 120th anniversary, which takes place in 2011.

dfs Crufts, the world’s most famous dog show, is organised and hosted by the Kennel Club, and the four day event is attended by more than 140,000 dog lovers from the UK and overseas who come together to experience competitions and events that celebrate the diverse role dogs play in society. Visitors also learn how to select, train, care for and enjoy life with their dogs.

The new G Group range will be on sale at dfs Crufts and other dog shows and via mail order and catalogue, and are currently available on the web at www.cruftsmerchandise.com. This latest agreement adds to an expanding licensing programme for the Crufts brand: World Editions LLC is set to produce six different types of commemorative stamp editions and medallion editions that will include the image of the winning dog breeds from the show, whilst Revel Mob has developed two Crufts iPhone apps - one that allows users to download vintage photos from the show’s archives and a new ‘Top Dog’ app allows users to play a special Top Trumps-style game featuring top breeds of dogs. 4sight has also recently signed an agreement with Cream Content that will see an official quarterly Crufts Magazine designed especially to help readers get more enjoyment from their pedigree dog.

‘’We are delighted to be working with G Group. The Crufts online shop creates a new window for the brand adding value and visibility.” said Sandra Vauthier-Cellier, Managing Director of 4sight licensing solutions and 4Kids Entertainment International. “The brand is well known and respected by dog owners in the UK and across the world, and these consumers spend a lot of money on their pets. This makes the brand hot property in the licensing market and this is reflected in a strong programme that we are continuing to develop.”
