Live Nation - Music, bands and more ... music goes fashion!

Celebrities Entertainment - January 2011

The rock star look has been dominating the world of fashion for several seasons and will exercise its strong influence once more in 2011. Some call it “grunge“, others call it “glam rock” – but all designers rely on rivets and rhinestones, vintage wash and destroyed effects.

However, also the 1980s celebrate their fashion comeback. Colourful T-shirts featuring graphics influenced by different styles of music – from grunge to electro – are real eye-catchers and absolute “must-haves” this summer. Fashion and music are perfect means to promote one’s self and communicate individual messages or beliefs. So music and fashion have always demonstrated group membership.

Since their foundation almost eight years ago, Bad Homburg-based licensing agency Celebrities Entertainment have been marketing the rights to more than one hundred bands and artists from all areas and decades of music history: from classic rock to alternative, from metal to rap, pop, and soul, through to jazz. Their large portfolio features some of the big names from the world of music: AC/DC, KISS, 50 Cent, Pink Floyd, The Police, Sex Pistols, The Who, U2, Run DMC, and Black Eyed Peas ...to name just a few.

„From our very first day in licensing business Music Artists was one of our best selling licensed properties; but only within the last one or two years we experienced a real hype”, says Ulf Vespermann, managing director, Celebrities Entertainment. Licensees from all categories including major companies like Global Labels, Paxos, Schumann Design, and Contrast confirm that Live Nation Music Artists by Celebrities Entertainment always guarantee success.
