Bing and Balocco come together in an unprecedented partnership for Christmas 2025

The Christmas 2025 season will see the arrival at retail of a special new product designed especially for Italian families. Bing, the award-winning animated series produced by Acamar Films and seen at least once by over 2 billion people worldwide, and Balocco, the historic and iconic Piedmontese confectionery brand, have announced their first collaboration.
This initiative will bring two Balocco Mini Pandoro (a traditional Italian soft and sweet cake) dedicated to Bing, one of the most beloved children’s characters in the world, into Italian homes, combining the magic of Christmas with the taste of Italian tradition.
In the context of Christmas, which celebrates authentic values such as sharing, kindness, giving and the desire to remember the most beautiful moments, Bing and Balocco are bringing a message of serenity to children and their families.
The partnership between Bing and Balocco for Christmas 2025, managed by Maurizio Distefano Licensing, whose agency has been managing Bing licences in Italy for years, stems from the value that the brands represent for millions of Italian families. For over a century, Balocco has been bringing traditional sweets, symbols of sharing and celebration, to tables across the country.

The Mini Pandoro dedicated to Bing strengthens this bond, creating a product designed not only for children but for the whole family, combining the authenticity of Christmas with the appeal of a character that children love and parents trust.
With more than 2.2 billion unique viewers and more than 10 billion views on YouTube globally, Bing is one of the most loved and recognised preschool brands by families around the world.
In Italy, Bing is even more of a phenomenon, consistently ranking first among the titles on Rai Yoyo. However, it is its educational value that gives the animated series its extraordinary character, notably through the project Essere pronti alla vita... È una cosa da Bing!, which, together with the Italian Paediatric Society and Assonidi, promotes good habits for the healthy growth of children.
Acamar Films has been involving hundreds of thousands of families with children aged 0-6 every year since 2023 in a major awareness campaign dedicated to important issues such as nutrition, outdoor play, sleep, emotion management and many other aspects that are fundamental for the healthy and peaceful growth of young children.
"We are proud to announce our partnership with Balocco in Italy," said Kirsty Southgate, Director of Experiential & Promotions at Acamar Films. "This initiative celebrates the authentic values of Christmas and accompanies children and their families in discovering the educational messages contained in the Bing animated series, which is so loved for its ability to represent the most authentic everyday life of little ones, with its ups and downs and its wonder."
"We are very proud to have been at the forefront of this agreement that brings together two brands deeply loved by Italian families: Balocco, renowned for its excellence in the food sector and among the most appreciated brands in Italy, and Bing, the character from the hugely popular animated series for children, which stands out for its highly educational content”, said Maurizio Distefano, President of Maurizio Distefano Licensing.
Balocco Mini Pandori with Bing are soft and delicious treats created by a family business that has been dedicated to sweetening the lives of millions of consumers around the world for over four generations. Made with free-range eggs and high-quality fresh Italian milk, Balocco Mini Pandori are loved for their soft and delicately scented dough, made according to the traditional recipe. They will be available from October in major retail chains.
