Tara Duncan edition of hit children’s musical storybox to launch in France in Fall 2023

Princess Sam Consumer Products has announced that it has awarded a licence to tonies for a version of the company’s enormously popular Toniebox musical storybox themed around the animated adventure-comedy-fantasy hit Tara Duncan. A selection of Tonies – figurines of Tara and her friends that start up the Toniebox and its stories – will also be developed.

The Tara Duncan Tonie is coming to France, Belgium, Monaco, Luxembourg, Switzerland first, where it will appear at a wide range of retail outlets, including toyshops and supermarkets, from Fall of this year.

The license, one of the very first for the Tara Duncan property, follows the successful arrival of series one of Tara Duncan, developed and filmed by the Princess Sam Pictures division, in multiple territories in the past year. The series is based on the multi-million selling books by Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian.

Total sales of the series now exceed 80 countries, including such major broadcasters such as Disney Channel, Disney+ and Gulli (France), RTS (Switzerland), Rai and DeAKids (Italy), Télé-Québec and Family (Canada), ITVX (UK), Gulli Africa, MBC3 (Middle East & Africa) and Disney Channel in Latin America. More major sales are due to be announced in the coming months.
